VOICEOVER: WILLIAM BURROUGHS

"I do definitely mean what I say to be taken literally,  yes,  to make people aware of the true criminality of our times,  to wise up the marks.  All  my work  is directed against those who are bent,  through stupidity or design,  on blowing up the planet or rendering it uninhabitable.  I'm concerned with the precise manipulation of word and image to create an action,  not to go out and buy Coca Cola,  but to create an alteration in the reader's consciousness".  (1965)

CIBO: ROASTED RED PEPPERS

Yes,  this what they look like before their Phoenix-like resurrection to tastiness. Keep in mind that cleaning the roasted peppers is much easier than cleaning your burner top, but the aroma of those charring peppers is heavenly.

CIBO: SALSA AGLI ASPARIGI

After first tasting this sauce in a small restaurant near San Clemente in Rome, we been trying to recreate it for the longest time.  It seems my wonderfully creative wife somehow summoned its essential savoriness from asparagus stalks in the blender.  The rest is top secret.

THIS IS HOW WE DEFORM: MODEL 13700 MULTI-MODE FEEDBACK FILTERS

Here is another worthy Buchla-format design from our friends in Europe (Belgium to be more precise). In a sound-world where Don Buchla placed primary importance on envelope creation over filter use,  this double filter causes quite the stir. The lower section has a switchable prepatched cv feedback control called "Morgellons". Strangely beautiful and useful.

THIS IS HOW WE DEFORM: ALKA GLITCH CARD

This looks like a sure winner in the "let's find new ways to mess up some sound" sweepstakes as necessitated by the Buchla 208r clone.  Let's hope this handy circuit card is available soon.
