Given a postcard size format one would tend to diminish gesture and expressiveness (not that I'm expressing anything but a record of decision, hand movement, and velocity). For me these are mixed-media paintings where failure is an option, though caution is nearly non-existent. They are signifiers of future works and the processes that could very well create them. Their ultimate meaninglessness should be embraced and nourished with random tumbles.
